I thought this might be a good way for all of us to find out who is going to a concert at any venue. some of us have been to the same shows and don't even know it. plus we can share any info on the shows coming to our areas. So I'll start this off.

Aug. 4 2009, Ft.Wayne war memorial coliseum

Mudvayne,black label society,static-X,suicide silence,dope,& bury your dead.

I plan on going to this show.

Rockin' it, old school...
Molly Hatchet at the Foelinger Theater, August 8th.
Last time I saw them play, (at the Coliseum, about 1980?) my ears were ringing for 3 days, easily the loudest concert I've been to. Not that that was a good thing.

There is a good chance.
They don't appear to be playing in Indy this fall like they have the past several years, or if they are, it hasn't been announced

"molly hatchet tonight. should be a great show!"

Can't wait! Gonna walk over, rock the animals at the zoo, and then take the party back 2 the little piece of country in the city.

PS, tickets are still available.

Wow, Molly Hatchet was almost as loud as they were in '80.
They put on a great show. HELL YEA. Especially considering that they got on a plane in Portland Oregon at midnight, after finishing another show the night before, and had been traveling/delayed all day. Arrived at the Foelinger about 30 min. after they were suposed to go on, and were having problems with their on stage monitors.

This Thurday the 13th at Pierres. If you're thinking about going let me know. I'll probably be there, but so far it looks like I might be going alone.

:ranton:
Absolutely nothin' to be sorry about. There outa be a law against changing the name of anyplace after it's new/opened. (OK, we really don't need any more laws. but...)

I started working there in 2001, the first year of the name change, it was harder than hell not to call it Deer Creek. We were fine to call it that among employees, but could get in trouble for using that name when talking to anyone else. Most employees still refer to it simply as "the creek". Alot of artist still have printed on thier tour shirts "Deer Creek Music Center, Noblesville, IN" Not VWMC.
Damn I miss working there, was a great 5 years!

Definately saw my share. In I believe '03 I worked 80 concerts during the summer alone.
My first year and a half working there I worked in Guest Services/Security, after that I worked as a runner in production. As a production runner I set with the task of providing the tour management/band whatever they wanted for out the day, including food. So I can relate to ya, Ozz, on some of the weird requests.
