anyone interested in having a group gathering/picnic at franke park? everyone bring a dish of something? just a nice day to hang out. let the kids play on the play ground equipment and enjoy some nice chats.

this will be posted on both boards. there will be no bitching or fighting. if ya cant get along dont come.

oh yeah forgot the time added it in. 12 noonish.

yes it is the park by the zoo. im thinkin drive in and stay to the left . will just have to play by ear. dont know how many other ppl will be thinkin the same thing.

its on sherman about 3 blocks towards coliseum blvd on the west side of the road. by the Foellinger theater.....ring a bell?.

Provided Noah doesn't decide to make his appearance on time tomorrow we'll be in attendance. I got dibs on hot dog buns (have a crapload at work that are going to go to waste if not used. We can bring an assortment of beverages, sodas etc...just name what ya need and let me know!!

Me and the girls are in but the wifey has to work until 3:30. Sounds like a good time. What do I need to bring old man??? I have extra chairs and can grab whatever needed? I guess I do have a grocery getter huh :doh:

What do I need to bring? I am gonna try and fit the cornhole boards in the trunk of the ghetto cruiser. Anyone wanna pitch some shoes? I have a set with stakes I can bring if we want....Let me know what everyone thinks is left to bring.....

If you guys all show up in your jeeps and there isn't a single hammer to be found I am gonna use nick's head to drive them in with......lol we know its hard enough....

I hope too. It may be Ashlee and me only. If we can make it we'll stop and grab some cookies or something for a dessert!! Sounds like a great time and lots of people! We tried the zoo yesterday around 2pm and the HOLE park was packed with people and parties. There was not place to park in the park except over by the pond or Foellinger theatre. May want to go soon to grab an area since the sprinkles cleared out!

yup had a great time. im really glad of the turnout we had. thanks to everyone who showed up and had a hand in it. it was a nice time.

TJULIE glad you made it out. hope we didnt weird ya out to much. got a cpl beautiful little girls there. hope they had fun!

we went through 50 burgers and 30 hotdogs and all the sides everyone brought out.

thanks guys. today is what its supposed to be about.

Thanks for the lunch! Ashlee had fun playing with all the kids!! It was a really good turn out. Glad to have put some more faces with names. Thanks to Mike and D for the good job on the grill. Love charcoal cooked burgers and dogs!! Can't wait to do it again!!
