I need help finding an old issue of peterson's 4 wheel off road...it had an article in it about swapping EFI systems into jeeps. They had a chevy 5.3, a for 5.0 and a dodge something...who cares...i need that article and i had it in a certain drawer in my desk...and it's gone....it's gone!!! Does anyone remember such an article? I'm sure it was from 2004...cause it was the same year i got married...well now it's time for the swap and i needs some info!!

I remember the article talking about needing larger fuel lines (how big?) and a higher pressure fuel pump (with a part number). Any clues?
And, i've got the entire factory wiring harness...even the cluster stuff...like for gauges and under the dash...can i just give the main battery cable 12v battery, then find (through reading the schematics) the ignition wires and give those 12v ignition...then turn on the fuel pump and see if this thing runs?!?! is that a bad idea?

First off, the line from the pump to the injectors has to be rated a higher pressure. the suction line from the tank to the pump can usually stay stock per the vehicle. The return line from the injectors to the tank has to be sized propperly also.
The power for the gauges may or maynot be 12 volts. some have a step down circuit to run on 5-6 volts. (doesn't arc behind the dash that way)
Some fuel pumps have 4 wires. Power, ground, and a sensing circuit.
I need to know what system is stock in the vehicle, and what the new fuel injection came out of, plus, if the new is throttle body, tuned port, or individual injectors per cylinder.

it's a 2000 GMC 5.3L Vortec with full factory wiring harness, ecm, maf sensor minus O2 sensors....the motor has three hard fuel lines running to it.
The other vehicle is my 1993 Wrangler 2.5L I4 fuel injected
