There's 1 piece of glass on my Jeep.....and it's broke
I figured I could have a new one put in for about 150 bucks...
but I didn't like the idea of doing it again....and again...
So I found this http://www.roadlessgear.com/Merchant2/m ... OD/A/RG130 for 200 bucks it looks pretty reasonable.

I know this post is kinda old , so you may have already done it . I machine plastic for a living and from what i have seen polycarb kinda yellows after time. If you know what i mean, not really yellow but just kinda haze and i would think being out in the sun all the time would even make it worse. Just my op.

But they make "plastic magic" or something like that that really cleans up plastics...like soft top windows, paintball masks...things like that that are scratched and yellowed...

I haven't swapped the windshield yet, but I do use Plexus on my soft top windows...it does help, just wish I'd started doing it sooner.

I've considered just using lexan in my Jeep if I ever bust the windshield. I've used it in racecars many times and it holds up extremely well.

when I was in college I was gonna do a cage in my K5 but when I removed the carpet...the floor came up with it.....so I replaced the entire floor with 1/4" diamond plate...I know it's overkill...but my buddy gave me his old flat bed....we lowered it in place with a forklift!!! That made the Ass really sag ....HAHA
