well the problem is i can't get my old spare tire off cause it has that stupid security lug on it with no key. i tried to hit it with a punch with no luck. does anyone have one that matches this patterni could borrow for 10 seconds? much appreciated.

good luck finding a key that matches lol. There are sockets that will do the job, but they destroy the locking lugnut. And with it being on the spare, those lugs like to break free from their mount and spin. Ask 02bad***tj, i did his for him

Some times at work I beat a 12 point craftsman socket on those and  it off with my impact. Just find a socket that is pretty close and pound it on 13/16 is usally the closest size.

Run over to discount tire, they'll have the right tool to remove it, and with my experiance with them, they won't even charge you to remove it.

I've done this several times. No use in keeping the lug nut in good shape as you are not going to reuse it.

thanks guys hammered a socket on and got it off just and seperate the socket and lug now. beat the  out of it but o well have to press it off. o well

Put the socket in a vice close the vice so It just catches the edges of the socket with the lug nut down and drive the lug nut out with a punch works for me every time!

i already did the vise thing. beat the  out of it. no luck may have put that thing on a little to good. ill just press it out at work save my nuckles..

i work at the discount tire right of of coliseum we do free flat repairs tire inspections and we can also remove wheel locks haha
