Hey All,

I'd like to ask your advice on the goodyear DuraTrac's.
I've been looking at the wally world spin offs for $130 but found the 'traks for $133 and put a bid into Discount tires to see if they'll match it.

Got a '05 Wrangler with a 1.5 spacer and shock lift, with the rest pretty much stock.
Im running aluminium rims with old mud king 32 x11.5 15's but spend most of my time on the hardball :crybaby2:

what's ya'll's over all opinion on them?

Thanks in advance!

you might want to get on www.tirerack.com and see if there are any reviews on these... it may or may not sway your decision...

I received a reply:

Mr. DiFlauro,
I have received the "Found It Lower" post you left on our website. Thank you for letting us know what we need to do to earn your business. I looked into the price and you are right, they are $133. You have to take into consideration charges for shipping ($22ea), charges for getting them installed, and what would happen in the occurrence of a warranty issue. We can do the tires for $153, and only $14.99 installation on each, with no charge for shipping. This gets all of your rotations, balances, flat repairs, and a lifetime prorated roadhazard all for free. You also get a Goodyear rebate through the end of the month. We will do whatever it takes to help you. I can contact the closest store to you and save the discounted price in their system. Please feel free to contact me via email, or you can reach me at the number below.

So, I think I'll do some poking around, Im sure I can get them to come down, not that I'm a Cheap Bas## :tu2:

the more I read on the Authorities from Walmart the better they're looking too.

tellozzy; I looked at that site when I viewed you thread on the tires, looks like a great deal! I'm gonna start looking at mounting/ bal prices to see if that may be a viable option!! wish they still sold the 33's at that price I could get a lift kit and the tires for the same as new tires off the shelf!

Sparky; thanks for the link, so far most say there prety good for the price even at $150 or so, Im trying to save as much as I can to start to outfit the rest of the jeep :)
