Good, bad, just ok? Its SYE time and i found a deal for a kit with a tom woods shaft that essentially puts the shaft at only $200 which will probably be cheaper than having a XJ shaft shortened and balanced, and definitely cheaper if the cardan joint in the xj shaft needs rebuilt. Let me know what ya think about them. I know its a popular name, but i also think i remember hearing a few bad things about them being fairly weak and twisting easy

I'm about to do the SYE/driveshaft myself, and I've not heard anything bad about Tom Wood's products...

i have a woods shaft that was in the blue jeep never had any problems with it at all ive read where people have gotten them and they were out of balance before but who knows as far as price to have a shaft done it was right around hundred for the one i had done in stump but the shaft size difference is amazing comparing the stock lengthened to the woods shaft so i put the woods in stump and the lengthened in the blue one.... so to make it simple id say got for the woods it seems hell of alot better but just my 2 cents
