Still havent been able to get this thing working. I put in a new solenoid in place of the one I broke. When I hook up the remote it doesnt make any noise. No "clicking". When I jump the wires where the remote plugs in I here a "clicking". The remote is from my previous M8000. It fits right in and Im pretty sure the remote can be used with both. Any help? Thanks

1. make sure the wireing is correct acording to the schematic
2. if it works when you bypass the switch do a continuity check on the switch to make sure you don't have a bad switch and also check the cable for any problems
3. check the plug they get dirty
4. if the switch plug and cable checks out ok i would say the wireing to the switch is not hooked up correctly
5. if all else fails you could bring it over here i could look at it for ya i think greasy sphincter the same guy i gave the 102" to?

I bought a new motor and 3 new solenoids. The one I did not switch was working fine. I switched everything out. I tested the motor with the test warn gave me and it works. I tested the solenoids and they click when I apply 12v to them. I decided to hard wire my remote. I am wondering which color of wire inside the winch is for in and out? I know red is ground and white is hot. I have green, brown and black. Brown goes to all four solenoids, black goes to two and so does green.

When I hook up the control, and push the spool in, it will do so but it won't stop spooling in. I have to disconnect the power wire from the battery. Do I have a bad remote? It won't spool out at all. I don't even get a click sound.
I sent this to warn also. Thanks
Mike

Seems to be pulling pretty hard, a lot harder than the M8000 I had on my LJ. I havent tested it with the Jeep yet, but hopefully soon.
The motor was bad, the wiring was incorrect and 2 solenoids were not working. But according to the seller (MR m38) it was working "good". I suppose I am the idiot for not asking to see it work before I bought it. Oh well, I have a $1,200.00 winch for about half the price.
