any good ways of flushing the tranny at home, i am too cheap to pay 80$$

Two buckets and some wrenches.Fill a bucket with new fluid, diconnect your cooler lines at the radiator, fire it up. new fluid goes in suckin hose, old goes out into empty bucket through blowin hose. run about 5 gallons through, or till clean comes out.

if the pump in your tranny is actually strong enough, I don't really think it will pull fluid through the lines, I think that the fluid is pushed through the lines...

????? At the cooler, you acheive atmospheric pressure. It DOES work. :lol:

drained the fluid, gotta love fords, the conveters have a drain too, drained it, then started it while pan was off let excess drain
then refilled
