Yeah, i was cruising home from a buddies house last night (10pmish) and was about half way home when i hear a clunk, looked in the back to make sure the clunk was indeed the crap that was supposed to be clunking and not something else...when i turned around (to the back) i found hundreds of sparks flying out from the back of the jeep!! but no noise!! So, i shut it down (in a hurry) and pulled over, looking for my trusty roll bar mounted Flash light i remembered it had been stolen almost a year ago and i never replaced it...dang i thought, but i looked under the jeep to look for something hitting the driveshaft or brake drums (something that would create the sparks) and see a glow coming from on top of my skid plate and remembered...CRAP the board i used to hold teh catalytic converter up in order to re-weld my exhaust was on fire ! ! I had forgotten to remove the board/spacer when finished with the job...drove about 20 miles with it and the board was now half as big as when i stuck it in there, it had slowly smoltered...so the "sparks" i was seeing were actually burning ambers of Pine....good thing i fixed the gas tank leak last week !!!
