haha, ya definitely! Id like to see what that cherokee can do, i originally wanted one...still do. What was wrong with your guys rigs when we saw ya on the trail?

Oh, and when i got home i looked up the procedure for those gears in a manual and it says that pin is supposed to be retained with a roll pin instead of the usual screw. its the first time i had seen a pin instead of a screw as well. Must have just been for a few years or something

Well my one freind in the black cherokee got stuck in that
deep hole you saw us by and the white XJ pulled him out.
Then he said he could do it and tried not once but twice
and I pulled him out both times 2nd run making it about a foot
father then the first. Soooooo after watching both my buds
try unsuccessfully I told them I'll show them how its done.
And so with everyone watching I blasted 3/4 of the way thru
it and threw mud everywhere, but didn't make it all the way out.
Stopped backed up 4 feet and blasted the rest of the way out.
Soaking one of my friends with mud. But made it all the way
thru on my own. Got out and laughed at my friends and all the
mud that I had thrown everywhere, only to look down and see
that my XJ was bleeding (trans fluid). Looked underneath and seen
that my trans cooler line had gotten pushed up against my
alt. fan from the mud and it chewed a hole in the line. In a couple of minutes with the help of some clamps and a splice and fluid she was good to go. But I had proven my point. Ha Ha Ha!!

If, when I pulled my XJ off the trailer and one of my inj. weren't
peeing gas all over the place pretty badly we would have joined you guys. But i went into town looking for an Inj. no luck and ended up going to a junk yard in town and getting a used one.
I guess one more thing i need to put in my spare parts box is a
couple of injectors. And on board air Right Blue. Ha Ha Ha!!

Hey, i got a set of injectors out of an 88 or 89 xj, i think they are mixed brands but if theyll work and you want them you are welcome to them.

Good job gettin yours fixed both times! I figured maybe you guys got some water in the distributor or something when i heard the one cranking but wouldnt fire..been there before Boogers and shit!!

My left headlight was doing the same thing. It was just the filament making contact sometimes. I had to change the light today!!

It was nice to meet you. No problem with hanging out with both of you while you were broken. I would hope any of you would do the same for me. I am glad to hear that the Jeep is home and back together. Hopefully we can get together again soon.
