1 trip so far has been for just wheeling, 2 have been for racing, the next one would be just wheeling with everyone, then the rest would be races

I might be in for a Sat down and back. Do you have a spot where you are meeting for the trip down? You will have company from the Great Lakes Jeep Thing guys who are having a three day run down there.

So how many are still actually going to make it to this. I may be interested in going if I am welcome to go with the TJ. I would like to get it out and see what it can do. Anyone have a rough idea on what the cost would be driving down and back as well as admission for however many days everyone plans on staying. I would probably wheel at least Saturday and Sunday and I already have a flag and a tent

$20 for driver and vehicle, $5 for passengers, GAS $$, and camping. I'm not sure what that might cost. I may be back on for the trip also. I will know later today. Friends may not be able to close on their new house Friday so I won't have to help them move this weekend.

I'm back in for the trip!! :tu2: They can't close on the house this week so that frees my Saturday back up. It will be down and back on Saturday. See ya at the BP before 7:30!

expect a day of wheeling to use right about 1/4 tank of gas maybe 1/3 ( in my KJ thats what i used)
and it took me approx 1/2 tank each way.. i think my bill was just a little over $100 for gas for 1 day trip.

camping is 7 per night
i think 2 days of wheelign is 30 ( not verified)

in the TJ it took me 3/4 tank there, 3/4 tank back, 1/2-3/4 tank wheeling 2 days, all meals purchased at park or restaurant, 1 t-shirt, 1 flag, $70 for hotel 1 night, $30 admission for 2 days, and dinner on the trip back. Believe I took $250 or so with me and came home with $6. Wish I could make it this trip guys but the Jeep isn't done and she's too close to poppin to go wheelin.

I can't make it unfortunately, I can not get the required youth forms taken care of by then. I tried but it did not happen for me to be able to bring my nephew. I will be looking to go though early next month and will start a post about it and hope I guess that some others can make it.

First weekend of October would be a great weekend to go. October 2nd is a TREC race and a KOH qualifier I believe. I will probably be there not sure if the jeep will be though.

We had a great time. Found alot of trails i had yet to be on. Would be nice some day if I could find someone that knows thier way around. Looked for the rock garden most of the afternoon. No luck. Spent time climbing hills and rocks then went down to the river. Left at closing after someone
came for help. I had to go back in and rescue a cherokee stuck in the trees. My new guy (Sam & Cari) did pretty well.
Only had to help him out twice. Anyway it was lots o fun.
