At least one other H3 guy and myself are planning a trip to Redbird on either March 3rd or 4th....still trying to get the date nailed down. Anyone interested? Lawmoose, you in? It's the perfect occasion for all you Jeep guys to come and laugh at the Hummers!

I believe that is the weekend of winterfest. I'm working and watching a buddies house that weekend. Have fun, take some pictures.

Had a really good time down there this past Saturday. Had the two of us, both with H3's. We were warned at the gate that the trails were in really bad shape and may not be passable, however compared to last time I was there, I thought they were in relatively good shape. We didn't have any problems getting around the trails we took. Can't say what condition, the harder ones were in since we didn't have any business being on those with relatively stock vehicles anyway,

Moose-- I know you're there a lot. You have any trail advice for the next time? I think we hit most of the trails that a near-factory rig should be on. Had a great time, but it seemed like the trail classifications (for a factory truck) were either Easy or Impossible.

We'll get the embarrassing stuff out of the way first. "It's not a sunroof. It's an escape hatch!"

This is the easy way to change a tire on a Hummer.

Trails can be a little tight for an H3.

Getting a little "tipsy".

Looks like a good time, wish I could have gone. I've only been there twice and only wheeled once. I love the place though its a great area. Sounds like we did most the same trail. If I remember right 1-2-3-14-21 are the ones we hit up and we went on a couple of others till we couldn't anymore. There might be a another group later this month going there, if you'd wanna go again.

Let me know the dates and I will see if I have them off. The YJ needs rear driveshaft work though and I still need to get tie downs for it on the trailer.
