thats right guys, looks as if i got my balls back. whats up now bitches? all that crap i got back in the day is in the past, got a jeep.

well i am sure all of you are like what kind of name for a jeep is that? blame my wheelin buddy Matt for that one. lol its red and its fast.

so last week i sold the blazer to a get that took it to Alaska, he paid me $2400 for and IMO i got off with the better end of the deal. then the hunt started and found this, 1995 jeep cherokee sport 4x4 with alot of goodies. only paid $2350 for it, but had to drive to BFE to get the damn thing.

here is the rundown on her-

159,000 miles
4.0L high output inline 6
dana 30 front
chrysler rearend
4.5 inch rusty's lift with lift shocks
rusty's adj. lower control arms
rusty's track bar
rusty's sterring stabilizer
rusty's pitman arm
rusty's tie rods and drag links
rusty's sterring box brace
rustiy's frame brace
15" pro comp wheels
31x10.5x15 BFG A/T tires
home brewed roofrack
gas tank skid plate
aftermarket CD player
rear roof mounted speaker pod/bar
rusty's cold air intake with K&N cone air filter
rusty's throttle body spacer
tube header (unkown maker)
flowmaster cat-back exhaust with chrome tip

Nice looking ride :tu2:
If you are looking for a good mud tire, for a descent cost, check out the Dunlop MudRovers, they are a great tire for the money.

It was spent putting gas in my truck to go get it.

For some reason it looks orange in the pics but it's a super bright red.

ok, so since i got a jeep can one of the mods change my jeepin groupy to something else. why do i have a feeling its not going to be a change for the good, but we will see. lol

not to many plans for her yet, but this is what i got in mind so far-

black cragar soft 8 wheels
31" or 33" mud tires of some kind
front tow hooks with braces
rear tow hitch with hook
vent visors
black window tint
full size spare wheel and tire
few sets of fog lights
clear/euro corner lights
full red wagoneer tailights
mesh grill
15" sub with 500watt amp
XM/sirus radio
cobra CB system
locker in the rear end

all within time and money.

thanks guys :)

so been busting my a$$ trying to get this jeep ready for the turkey run
at this point i think its done for the most part and ready to do some wheelin, still need to fix the window cranks, but since winter is almost here and i quit smoking dont think its a big deal.

i have done a bunch of chassis and under hood repairs-

oil & filter
plugs
cleaned k&n filter
vacume hose
upper arm bushings (done by shop)
rusty's HD tierod ends
drag link bushings
new rotors
front pads
rear shoes with all new springs and hardware
alignment (done by shop)

start with the interior.

installed a new flip down pioneer CD player, delphi xm radio, cobra CB radio, and fire extinguisher up front.

Image
Image
Image

15" RF punch sub with a 500 watt crunch amp in the rear.

Image
Image

made a usefull holder out of the pocket in the cargo area, also added another fire extinguisher in the rear.

Image
Image

on to the exterior.

bought Bill/Ozzy's old retreads off him for a good price, only running one pair of them on the front since the BFG's in the rear are still good.

Image

painted the rusting and chipped wheel centers flat black, also tryed to polish the wheels with little luck.

Image

added a class 2 hitch with hook on the rear for recovery.

Image
Image

installed a set of rusty's tow hooks with brackets to the front for recovery.

Image
Image
Image

mounted a CB antenna to the right rear.

Image

chrome like mesh grill, harbor freight fog lights, and flag mount on the front.

Image

functional hood vents with mesh.

Image

added a full size 31" spare wheel and tire, harbor freight farm jack, and harbor freight shovel to the roof rack.

Image
Image
Image

found this sticker, i think its great and so true. lol

Image

thats about it for now, i am sure there will be more to come at some point.

more pictures i took today.

i have the same jack ya got ryan. if ya remember i used it at jeep jam on that chick that popped the beed off the rim. works pretty good but don't treat it as the real deal. it has gotten me out of some pinches and it was cheep but i expect it to bend or break one of these days. when it breaks i will replace it, untill then i will continue to run it. or untill santa brings me a hi-lift haha, ya right.

you should trim those front fenders even with the bottom of the grille ( the bottom of fender and flare)

so i am going to try and get a few more things bought and done to the rocket before the badlands trip, since i got a month it should be getting done very soon.

.75" front coil spacers (ordered)
quick disco.'s (ordered)
grant steering wheel w/ install kit (got it today)
front end skid plate (picking up this weekend, hopefully)
dana 30 diff gaurd (picking up this weekend)
new front door speakers (stock chit stank)

TODO'S-

install all of ^that
put new window cranks in
clean/recharge K&N filter
change oil
change diff fluids
top off trans case
find a place to mount my badlands flag, might need a birdchit frrom topper for this one.
adjust my lower control arms forward, to center the axle in wheel wells
cut front fenders flush with grill, matt will like this one

air sheers do sound fun. :? lol

got a few things done today, funnest was pulling the airbag. nothing bad happened, but i was shakeing the whole time. lol so pulled the caravan steering wheel out and swapped it for a chrome grant 3-bar, so far i like driving with a smaller wheel, makes for easier turns.

Image
Image

stopped by D&B and bought a set of $20 2-way 5 1/4" door speakers.

Image

mounted up the frontend skid plate, i like having a little protection for the susp. and such. i thought i was buying an aftermarket skid, but this one is a foctory/mopor skid, would like to see what it would cost new. :eek2:

Image
Image
Image

form the same guy i picked up a dana 30 diff. skid, i want to repaint it and will mount it up one i get to changing the diff fluids.

Image

got some new jeepininin stickers off Dan the other day, had him cut out XJ on it also.

what did you do with your old steering wheel? and where did you get that front skid plate? I was looking at one for mine but I heard it makes working on the front end a pain in the butt..

i have it in the bed of the chevy waiting for you to pick it up, i take it you want it?

got the skid off of a guy on craigs list, it would make working on the front end a pain. but its only 4 bolts that hold it up there, so it would come down if i needed to work on the front.

great song, greatest singer/songwriter, and first white rapper. lol that man could flow with the best of them.

got a few more goodies in the other day-

rusty's .75" poly coil spacers, should help out with the front sagging thanks to the new winch and bumper.

Image

rusty's 3-6" lift quick sway bar disco's, should help with my drive to the badlands and to work and back, since this is my daily driver. lol

Image

and since i could not run a horn with my new grant steering wheel, i did what any son of a truck driver would do. went and bought an air horn from harbor frieght, also picked up a inline fuse and a switch to control it.

Image

installed-
Image

switch-

only items left to buy are- fluids, filters, and gaskets. oh and window cranks

it was a long saturday for me, but was glad to get the stuff i did do out of the way.

dropped the front axle to remove the springs, then added the .75" spacers.

reintalled the sway bar and installed the discos.

dropped the lower control arms to adjust them out, brought them out about 1.25".

changed the dana 30 diff. fluid and installed the diff skid.

looks as if the spacers made the jeep sit level again, or maybe even higher in the front.

dont think so, that was all i was ready to cut, keep in mind this is my daily driver for 5-6 months out of the year.

got the rear dif. fluid done this week and found no LSD, damn i wanted to trip. lol

also got the flag mount figured out without having to do anything to the bumper. i had an extra bracket left over from a set od lund step tubes and bolted it to the front cross member on the jeep, it lays across the top of the bumper perfectly.

only thing left to do is the oil/filter and window cranks maybe, but dont think so. :crybaby2:

yes sir, both of them are cut out. i would like to add some that are bigger down the road, but they still let the heat out. after adding the front end skid, i have noticed it getting hotter faster, so i might have to jump on it faster then i thought. lol

Lookin good bubba! Don't fork up my new wheels too bad before I get them! Hey, you still got those horns? The horns in the ZJ crapped out at some point. The relay fires, and the wiring is good, so it must be the horns! The XJ horns sound more honda like than the ZJ horns, but I'll take what I can get! MEEP MEEP!
