I know someone who had their XJ hooked up as a hydrogen hybrid, they said it did not work as well as on his other car because of the TB set up on the 4.0 engine. But it may be someone on here.

It was hydro. I would think that would be a very expensive
conversion.

Ahhh.... the hydrogen fuel cell :?

It's not that bad actually. I have several prototypes and one I plan on using in a car eventually.
The kit is actually really simple and cheap to make. Way easier than half the stuff you guys do to your jeeps
As long as you have a bubbler, pressure release cap, and wire a kill switch, it's pretty safe.
Supposedly your fuel burns cleaner, engine runs cooler, and you triple gas mileage.
There are reputable companies that make kits and sell them on ebay. They even make Massive ones for semi's!

I would post a link on how to build one, but I'm at work and sadly half the internet is blocked.

Build one, put a small amount of soap in a bucket of water, insert fuel cell, add fire (from a distance).....boom....hehehe

I know of a Guy in Columbia City who has one on a TJ.
His dad said it does ok but the fuel savings is not noticable.

Dick and I were on our way to get get lunch money today and we saw a gentleman with a hydrogen fuel cell strapped to the front bumper of his TJ. Got to talk to him at a stop light and he said it made no difference in his fuel economy. I asked about the power side of it and he said it made a small difference.

When were worked down at ODZ I did a lot of research on it. Even bought a couple videos and did a small test. I took a slinky and intertwined it so it made a coil. Dropped in a tub of water and hooked a battery to it. Sure enough it started making bubbles, that when exposed to flame would light and pop.

I didn't go much further that since I didn't really have the extra cash to put into a project that could possibly yield nowhere. Seeing this guys set up has kinda got me interested in it again but i'm still poor and prolly wont do it. We will see though.
