Sorry lady's and gents its not a jeep, not even a 4 wheel drive. Its a future street rod. Its going to be a very slow build, but I will keep you all posted on its progress....

I just bought this.

A 1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe Sedan

Plans for it is:
suicide doors
Air ride
chop top, maybe channel job on it
front clip and 8 3/4 rear with posi out of a volaria
360, 727, out of a 71 fury
shaved door handles
and much more

I want it to kinda look like this, but in a flat copper, and gunmetal. or maybe flat black with some flat blue in it somewhere.

I have to get the floors pans replaced, and get a wiring harness for it. then get the motor and tranny pulled and put the others in before i can get it home to work on it. so for now its 2 1/2 hours from my house at my uncles place

Well its been along while since I did anything to this. It sat because I wasn't sure if I was going to have to sell it or not/ but we not selling it, just yet anyway. I did get the 360, and tranny out of the fury. I had got a call from a dude with a 46 all done up, and he wanted to go back to a more stock form with his, and wanted to trade even up his louvered hood, for my stock hood...I did. its just sitting on the car for now. I looked up what it would cost to do a rebuild kit on all the front suspension parts...Holy shit, it is expensive. I cant just replace bushing, I have to replace a-arm shafts and stuff like that. So the plan now is to put the front clip in from the Volare, which means torsion bar front, rack and pinion and disk brakes , and alot cheaper to rebuild. I can lower it with the adjustment of a screw too.

I'm thinking since I have to put a new front clip in, and the whole front is going to be off, I might as well lift the rest of the body off later, and sandblast the frame, and paint it copper. It will be easier to run the electrical and fuel and brake lines anyways. I think we may paint the car flat black with copper accents, like the inside will be copper, and have some pinstripe flames on the hood and fenders.
