heres whats been goin on with my gf jeep we actually went n bought a motor yesterday (the one in it had a cracked block) and got it swapped for the most part the engine is from a 99 grand cherokee so the only thing that matched was the block... but we did get it mounted and swapped gonna finish the wiring and all that today. as for everything else the jeep now has a 3 in lift in the front (been too lazy to do the back) and 31 in savero mud tires (off brand bfg mt's) after all this were gonna get some tow points on it so its ready for jeep jam hopefullly more to come on this thread

I hope that you swapped the flex plate back to your original one...
the grand and xj torque converter do not have the same bolt pattern...

coil? iac? I'm really just guessing...vacuum leak sounds like a possibility...
first thing i would do is check ALL the connections and wiring from the motor swap and make sure that everything is connected and that the grounds are all good and connected as well.

well it started runnin like crap again then it never wanted to start the new battery was always dead and the after a charge the engine still cranked slow till it started ... turned out the store sold us a battery with a bad cell in it so we got the battery to hold a charge but the engine still cranked slow when startin so we got a new starter and that was fixed too so as of now it runs perfect still need some cool ideas for it
