A little late but better late than never I guess

We just went to the after show mainly to check out the mopar concept vehicles.

Ok onto why I went!
They had three, and it was tie between the MB concept and the Africa
Here's the MB

inside the MB, love that its a manual trans

Here's the Africa concept, I like its Overland style

and the last one they had was the full size jeep concept

and thats pretty much it, like I said I only went to the after show. As most of you know, there isn't much of a jeep scene anymore in Fort wayne, so it didn't seem worth while to wheel with random people, just not the same. It is what it is though.

Last I checked there was still a thriving Jeep scene in Ft Wayne. They're just mostly young asshole kids.

However, on the subject of Concepts and Future Vehicles...

I have every intention of getting one of those pickups they're going to start making in Toledo.

Also, if plans that they announced in 2014 haven't changed, and this beauty is coming in 17/18, I'm going to force one upon my wife.

Those concepts are all really cool. I especially like the Africa. Looks like the result of a whole lot of Defender, FJ40, and JK in breeding. I don't say that as an insult either-- I really do think it looks good.

I really liked the africa also, it had a diesel too! I'm more into the overland styled Jeeps than the big rock crawler jeeps. Don't get me wrong the rocker crawler jeeps are cool, but having an overland jeep seems like it gives you the best of both worlds. Decent street manners and still very off road capable. When I finally get my JK lifted I'm wanting an OME 2 inch lift and 33 inch tires on a set of JK moab wheels I have. Should give it good street manners and still allow me to travel and yet have some decent off road capability!
