There is a panel above the rearview mirror in my truck. I'm going to head to the junkyard in the morning to see if I can find a truck like mine that has the whatever it is that goes there, if it doesn't I'll pry the panel off and see what's under it. But, in case I don't find out, I'm wondering if anyone knows what goes there, what's behind it, etc.

What Chaz said, I've also seen a built in garage door opener in that area.

I've got all those little flip down compartments, I just need that screen or whatever goes there. Maybe I'll get a little CB to put there.

If your jimmy's not equipped with the Information center (the screen thingy) then you can't just put one in. I'd put in a CB or something....maybe some toggle switches for something?
