I have an 89 gmc half ton that the air does not work nor has forever. But the pump went out and instead of spending money on a $200 pump LMC trucks has a bypass pulley. Only problem is it says its for a 90 to 95 350 engine. Does anyone know what or if there is a difference in the 350 mounting for the pump between an 89 and a 90 gmc. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

i would think it would work, from my understanding, 88-95 350's are all setup the same. then everything changed over to votecs in 96.

dont go off my info tho, i would wait for another to reply that might know more then me. lol

why not just call LMC? they have been very helpfull to me in the past even if i was not buying anything and just asking for part numbers.

YOu may just try going to a parts store and picking up a belt for a non-AC equiped version of your truck, and see if that would work, thats what I did on my TJ and it worked fine.
