I just picked up a 94 2500 ram to swap the dana 60s under my 98 ram 1500. I could use some help pulling both sets of axles and putting the 60s under my ram. Will i need to change master cylinder and brake booster or anything else. Hopefully I can use the 2500 driveshafts. the front axle under the 2500 was a 44 but someone swapped a newer 60 that had abs on it.
when 94 rams did not come with abs up front.

Be ready to have issues with getting your lower control arm bolts out as they normally sieze inside the steel sleeze in the bushing, same thing with the rear leaf springs, (in the event your swap some 2500 leaf springs under it as well). I would suggest new rear u-bolts, since you aren't supposed to reuse those anyways, but it will save you some time becuz then you can just cut or break the old u-bolts

got the rear axle out and started on the front. the earthquake impact i got from harbor freight is great it has broken all the rusty bolts except the one lower control arm so far.
I am going to have to change the spring perches the 2500 springs are 3 inches wide and the 1500 are only 2.5 inches so i think if i do a you bolt flip and shackle flip to get rid of the block. kill 2 birds with one stone.
