I have what seems to be a electrical smell and at first I thought it might be my electrical fan because it was running a lot since its so hot oustide, but I don't think its that. Anyway when I stoped to check it out I saw a little bit of smoke coming out from the passenger side wheel well area. Anybody know what it could be? The Jeep is running well and not over heating or anything. I think it smells the strongest by the passeger side tire area.

I think I found the problem, could it be since the electrical fan is running so much that the alternator is getting over worked. If so how could I fix this?

I would replace the wire from the alt. to the battery with some heavy gauge wire, something like 2 gauge. Your local welding supply stor should have the wire and connectors.

Go to D&B sales and get some Amp wire. Its the same thing as welding cable, but much cheaper.
Or just let me know if you want some wire I have plenty.
