Ok so I just got a 97 ZJ w/ the 4.0 It cranks but wont start and there is no spark. So far I have changed the Crank Position Sensor because some of the wires to it were cut and also I have changed the cam position sensor (distributor pickup). I also switched out the coil with a known working one. Still No Spark. I've got power at the plug that goes into the coil but no spark coming from the coil or any other plug wires. Also its throwing a P0340 code which is the cam position sensor but I just replaced that with a new one ANY IDEAS??????????????????

If I remember correctly the cam sensor doesn't cause no spark issues, it's only for timing. Try the pickup in the distributor. Or recheck crank sensor wiring.

the 2000 doesn't have a distributor, i'd say recheck the cam position sensor...
if it doesn't work after that, check the coil pack, you could also have a bad one.....

edit:
i believe the cam position sensor is supposed to control fuel timing, but it will cause it not to start...
