i was lookin in to getting new gears, and i was woundering if the 4.10 or 4.11 gears would be any better than my 3.73 gears and also would i have to change my carrier or would i have to even worry about it if i put quick loks in it :dontknow:

what size tires, what kind of wheeling, and yes you will have to change carriers.

31x11.50 micky thompson baja claws. i like trail riding and i talked to the guy at 4 wheels parts and he said if i put quick loks in i would have to change anything

the 3.73s should have the larger carrier that would except 4.10s and up.

I have been wrong before, but I believe that 3.92 is the numeric cutoff for the lower (numerically higher) gears.

Which guy did you talk to?


Also, the cuttoff for the axle carriers are as follows
d30 is 3.54& down and 3.73 and up
d35 is 3.31& down and 3.55 and up

Craig and Pat they are both friends of mine i was at the jambo with craig and my bro and alot of other guys but any ways they said i dont have to worry about carriers
